Texas Requirements
Texas does not require Continuing Education for Associate LMFT.
LMFT Minimum Hours Required: 30 hours during each renewal period
- 6 of 30 hours in ethics
- 3 of 30 hours competency with distinct population
- Maximum of 10 surplus hours may be carried over to next renewal period
Important information
- Licensee who provides telehealth services must complete 2 hours of continuing education in technology-assisted services
